What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Players in 3rd-12th grade for the 25-26 school year are welcome to attend tryouts! Advanced 2nd graders may also register to determine readiness.

What time of the year does this program run?

Spring/Summer season for grades 3-8 runs approximately April 1-June 30. Dates can fluctuate at the older levels due to school-based basketball schedules.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices are typically held at Boylan High School, Rock Church, or Loves Park City Hall.

Games usually take place within a 90 minute driving distance from Rockford, most times in the Chicago suburbs.

When are practices and how often are they?

Teams practice 2x/week for 90 minutes. Practices typically begin at either 6:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and take place either Saturday or Sunday. Most games are part of single day events. Any overnights are coordinated at the individual team level.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Practice jerseys are included with the team fee, while game jerseys are a separate cost.

What is the cost to participate in the travel basketball season?

Range from $500 to $1000 are the individual player fees. Deposits are due the week after tryouts to hold your spot on the roster.

If a player needs/wants a new uniform, there is an additional cost.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Gate fees are the norm for game sites, usually ranging around $10/person.
